Wedding Party

Kristen
Kristen - Matron of Honor
Kristen and I first met down at ISU. We volunteered on a crisis hotline together once a week. Our shift was dinnertime so we thought it would be fun each week to make a themed meal. While our lives have changed since then we still try to go out once a month to try a new cuisine. We also enjoy going camping and exploring new breweries together.
Jennifer
Jennifer - Matron of Honor
Jen and I met at work about 9 years ago. Our friendship blossomed from the desire to play intramural sports and travel. We have played sand volleyball, kickball, dodgeball, bowling, and softball together. We have also gone on some fun animal tips where we have gotten to feed Red Panda’s, swim with manatees, and go whale watching. Let’s not forget the one time we flew down to Miami to see Pitbull perform in his hometown!
Lexy
Lexy - Bridesmaid
Lexy was the first friend I made in college. She was also the one I got in the most trouble with. She is always there for me and we love having a good time together! Dale!
Koren
Koren - Bridesmaid
I have known Koren since we were kids. We first met in girl scouts. While my passion for girl scouts was not there we managed to reconnect years later in high school and then again in college (despite going to different colleges). Koren and I got to be roommates shortly before meeting our perspective partners. She was my sanity during COVID. Best time to have a roommate!
Danielle
Danielle - Bridesmaid
Danielle and I also met in college. Danielle is the friend who is always down for an adventure. She and I have kayaked the Green River, explored Mammoth Caves, went cliff jumping in Jamaica, and partied on Blarney Island together.
Greg
Greg - Best Man
Greg is my best friend. We met at my first real job after college where he taught me how to be a freight broker. We continued to grow close as we began running that compnay and then on to running our own company. We have grown from young men into adulthood togther and I couldn't imagine anyone else I would want standing by my side on this day!
Zack
Zack - Groomsman
Zack is my brother whom I have known my whole life. Staying close has been more of a challenge for us as Zack lives abroad. Luckily we share enough hobbies including: soccer, strategy games, and middle easten politics that there is always somethig to keep us chatting and engaged.
Danny W
Danny W - Groomsman
I have know Danny for over a decade. We met through my first real job after college. There we became close friends during work and frequent happy hours to gripe about the stress of our jobs. We have remained close through the years and spent innumerable hours together enjoying each others company whether out having fun or learning about the bubonic plauge while working the afternoon away.
Danny C
Danny C - Groomsman
Danny was one of the first people I became friends with when I moved back from college. We both liked to go out and have fun as young men, and make less than optimal choices. As we have grown into adults together we have remained friends and helped each other to grow and mature.
Nathan
Nathan - Officiant
Nathan is the one responsible for my desire for Hazy IPAs LOL. Nathan is a kind, genuine, caring, devoted father and husband. He is someone I feel comfortable talking to and enjoy spending time with. Nathan has accepted us as part of his family and he is a part of ours.
Henry
Henry - Ring Bearer
Henry is Kristen and Nathan’s son. Colleen has of course known him since he has been born. Ben has known him the past few years. While Ben is currently his favorite he does still consider both of us to be part of his family and we consider him to be part of ours. We even named our plant after him! Henry loves cars, dinosaurs, and working in the shop with his dad. He is very excited to be our ring bearer and has even agreed to wear a bear costume. We’ll see…
Jack
Jack - Usher
Colleen has known Jack since he was a youngster and has had the privilege of watching him grow up. He is Kristen and Nathan's son. While he has gotten to the age of it no longer being cool to hang out with us he is always a good sport when he does. We are super excited to have him as our usher and watch him go off to college next year!
Big Al
Big Al - Usher
Al and I have been friends for more than decade. Al has always been a loyal friend and great guy. He is quick with a drink or ride to the airport. We have grown even closer since he moved in to our building and joined our gym. We are happy to have him as an usher.
